Our PPO Mrs Benson didn’t get a lot of sleep last Friday night but she did boost a local charity’s fundraising by over £600.
Mrs Benson joined the Big Sleep Out for local homeless charity Streetlife. On Friday 31 March she spent the night on the streets of Blackpool in support of the charity that provides support and shelter for vulnerable young people between the ages of 16 and 25 in Blackpool.
Through sponsorship and donations collected on the night, Mrs Benson raised £625 for Streetlife. The total raised by the team in Blackpool was a massive £28,000. Well done to everyone involved!
