Pupils have been rewarded for their punctuality, good behaviour and attendance with a special Easter brunch.

Pupils who each achieved 100% attendance last term with no late or negative behaviour points, attended the Easter ‘eggstravaganza’.

They tucked into a feast of sausages, hash browns and beans, then took part in a game of Easter bingo in which they could win some chocolate egg treats.

Each pupil was awarded a Star Citizen certificate, and parents and guardians also received a letter of congratulations from the school to thank them for their support.

Andrew Galbraith, Principal of Highfield Leadership Academy, said: “When students come to school every day they are not only committing to achieving but are committing to being part of, and more connected to, our community. They will develop important social skills and their friendships will be stronger.

“We believe that good behaviours should be rewarded. Congratulations to all of our pupils who have achieved excellent attendance and we hope many more pupils will be rewarded next half term.”
